Peter Fenton - The Days of In Between

We are delighted to announce the launch of the debut novel The Days of In Between by musician and actor Peter Fenton, a beautiful story of the last moments of childhood and found friendship amidst family fractures, grief and loss.

About the book

Setting the story in the NSW south coast town of Tathra in the late 1970s, Peter Fenton has written his own song of innocence and experience, with a young protagonist who is bold, brave, joyful and frightened, and who embodies the boyish qualities of gentleness and a sense of justice. In the midst of a timely conversation about toxic masculinity and its genesis, celebrating these human traits is to be applauded.

This captivating novel, that will remind many readers of Colin Thiele, features new artwork by renowned artist David Bromley on the cover with additional illustrations peppered throughout.

About the Author

Originally from Canberra, musician, songwriter and actor Peter Fenton moved to Sydney in the 1980s. His band Crow went on to have success with four albums, national and international tours, supporting Jeff Buckley and Nirvana among others, forging a reputation as one of the most important Australian bands to come out of the 1990s. After Crow disbanded, Peter pursued acting, with lead roles in the critically-acclaimed film Praise, adapted from the Vogel Award-winning novel by Andrew McGahan, and the ABC series Love is a Four Letter Word as well as other roles on numerous television productions and documentaries.
