About The Event
Ross McMullin is a Melbourne-based historian and biographer.
In Pompey Elliott at war: in his own words, Ross brought the letters and diaries of Australia's famous fighting general to life.
His multi-biography Farewell, Dear People was awarded the Prime Minister's Prize for Australian History.
In his new book, Life so full of promise, Ross again combines in-depth research with great storytelling to bring back to life the personalities and lives of three young Australians we lost in World War I; young men of "radiant potential".
Ross is an entertaining, enlightening and moving storyteller of this watershed era in Australia's history, which we reflect upon each year on November 11, Remembrance Day.
